Week 3 - Progression

This week we focused on what we had learnt from the previous weeks to determine and help us to focus on what we want to create for our projects. From my skill set I can deter what areas need improving, and where I should be spending more of my time. By looking at what the industry expects of me and what I would like to become, has fuelled me to perform to the best of my ability. Whatever I create for this module will have to reflect everything I have learnt from the first year of uni to now. It has to show that I have grown as a new media specialist and that I can push myself and not limit in order to become comfortable.

Right now as a new media specialist I am leaning towards the Website Designer role. It is something that I am knowledgeable on, however there is a lot for me to learn. I believe that by making a website for my project I will be pushing myself to create something that will stretch me mentally and emotionally. I have denoted other project ideas due to time and being realistic with myself and what I can handle.
